Well, I'm not the BEST one to be saying this, but I feel it to be appropriate.
Dear Azarnoosh,
I very much wanted to get to know you better. Even though we did not physically meet, our conversations really had a lot of meaning and value. You always had things to say when I was not able to manage. Truth be told, that actually helped me when talking to others, since I would find myself often asking, "What would Az say?" You were always so nice and kind, which really made me feel wanted and liked. I have to admit, I was drawn by your innocent charm, and something told me that you felt the same way, if only slightly. Your knowledge of politics was quite impressive and always interesting to listen to, and your achievement of the debate club's popularity was even more impressive. I had nothing but respect for you when you went downtown to hand out flyers for Darfur, since I doubt too many people would have done that willingly. It was an honour to edit your journal for english, and I think it appropriate to quote your line from "The Great Gatsby", since you seemed so fond of it.
"I'd like to just get one of those pink clouds and put you in it and push you around"
You described it as carefree, passionate and full of hope. I couldn't agree more, since all I can feel right now is regret for not getting to know you better. You seemed like a very smart person (despite all your efforts to prove otherwise). I have to compliment your taste in music, since it did vary from genre to genre. I know you liked our band's song, and I am glad you were able to hear it, if not live by us. Know that your memory will be taken into account on November the Fourth. I am sorry that you had to meet fate's decision at the hands of something as bad as alcohol. I feel even worse knowing I was supposed to be there with you that day. I felt like I could have done something, but it unfortunately is in the past now. Know that I give my word not to touch a drop of alcohol. Yes, I already wish not to, but your experience fuels my willpower. Know that your memory will keep me strong, as I am sure you would have wanted to help me along as well.
I do not wish to go on writing, for my memory of you is almost depleted. But, I feel that every word I have written is of value out of my large level of respect for you. From what I saw, you were one of the good ones. I truly would have loved to have known you better.

Three times in my memory can I remember a show where I stood for it's duration. Rush: 2004, Marcus Miller: 2006, Red Hot Chili Peppers: 2006. I was so impressed by the way they had everyone up for the entire show. The stage presence really made a difference for the interactivity since people left thinking "wow, these guys really put on a great SHOW". This isn't just some "OMGZZZ I LOVE THE CHILI PEPPERS :D:D:D<3<3<3" kind of feeling. I went in expecting guys that I've listened to since I was at least 8 coming out and playing stuff with the sound they've created currently, and I got what I expected. They don't sound like they used to, which has it's pros and cons. I like when artists change their sound to add variety (e.g. Rush or Beck). But also, I do like it a lot to keep what worked and was strong. Like the saying goes "If it isn't broken, don't fix it". Getting past all of that, I honestly didn't hear much of their age enter into the music. The guys played with tons of energy, so many notes (especially in John's solos) rang out with beautiful precision. One thing I must say about the "new sound" is that Anthony's vocal skills are getting better. I was really proud to be able to sing along to most of the songs (except throw away your television, me and my friends, you're gonna get yours and fortune faded, at least those are the ones I remember off-hand). The setlist was great, especially compared to the first show. Readymade was quite a treat, and then hearing Me And My Friends or I Could Have Lied was such a nice surprise for my love of their older stuff. Although I liked stuff like Dani California and the other close-related S A songs, it was depressing a bit to hear the ENTIRE audience sing along to that song and that song only. Yes, I'm being picky cause of the way I dislike the fans solely of this new sound, but that's just the way I am. All in all, I was really impressed. This is honestly one of the "up there" concerts from the music value, the show value, and for the fact that I was so involved I was tired out in many ways after the show was done. Kudos to you guys, I was quite impressed, even for a first-time view.
On a side note, I'm curious about the Mars Volta sound, since I liked it, but I'm on the fence if I like THEM. I'll probably end up doing the old download/friend-send tango.
Also, it's been a while since I've posted, so to anyone who takes the time to read this, thanks, and if it means anything, I...guess...I'm sorry for not writing more?

I hate alcohol. That's really all that can be said about it. It's a horrible drink that causes nothing but problems. Wonderful people have turned into complete assholes before my eyes. Great people turn into stumbling, irritating loudmouths who don't tend to think when it comes to doing anything for the period of their intoxication. Many nights for me have been ruined thanks to this 'great', 'wonderful' drink...and it really pisses me off. Now, for adults, I have nothing I can say that would convince them to stop drinking. They are of age to do it, and as much as they like, which is unfortunate in some cases. But for everyone else, this is my effort to try to ask (and maybe even beg) that we don't drink. Yes, it may be fun (and I've even experienced the small bit of fun it has to offer), but it just makes everyone (to me) awkward to be around. For me, it tastes bad, causes nausea, makes me want to pass out. For others, it could even help persuade things that could end up being fatal. I know I'm pulling out reasons that usually don't apply to us, but I just want to see if anything can actually be done. I respect the fact that we all want to have fun, and that this is a quick and easy way to do so, but at what cost? There are plenty of better ways to have fun, and I'm sure we can all think of them. Listen, this isn't an "oh, if you keep drinking I'll be your friend" kind of thing, because that's silly. This is just my little speech about why it's better to be sober (at least during the time where it's still illegal to drink), plus, this is me venting my built-up frustration towards all this after countless experiences. In no way is this an attack or me pointing fingers at anyone. I've just had it (due to an experience last night). So please, try your best to at least be reponsible with alcohol, because I've been in the situation where I regret what I've done...a lot, and I'm sure there are others who regret instances as well. I just want to have fun, and have GOOD memories with everyone instead of adding another night to my list. Sorry if this offends anyone, for it's not my intention. This is just the ramblings of someone who's finally been pushed by bad experiences. Thanks to all to those who've taken the time to read this. Don't worry, I'm not going to be all pushy or anything, because no one deserves having things force-fed to them, which I apologize if I've been like that in the past. Once again, I've got something that I can be ashamed about. Anyway, this is long enough, I'll shut up.

You know, I've had my fun, during good times, and even bad. But this just tops it. I honestly can't take it any more, and I just wish that this could all stop once and for all. I want to be completely happy again. No fighting, no yelling, no having to avoid her just for moments of sanity. I want to have the courage and confidence to go out and be myself, to talk and have fun with my friends, to not look down upon myself every single day. I live a sad, meaningless life, I doubt anyone can argue that much. I can't even hold conversation with people around me, because let's face it: I'm boring. I try to stay interesting, and to be a nice person. But I just keep fucking up. For that, I am truly sorry. I don't know how bad people have had it, nor do many know how bad I've had it, but I'm having it pretty bad right now, and I guess I did this to myself...all of this (that I'm sure a lot of people aren't completely aware of). I really feel bad for those that I have: bored, hurt, pissed off, irritated, annoyed, etc... But right now, I'm pretty sure I'm getting my comuppance, or maybe I've just been punished for as long as I can remember. Regardless, I need people to talk to, and I'm sorry for those who I talk to if I ever sound like a broken record with all my issues that I have to deal with. And for those kind enough to deal with me being annoying and irritating, I thank you, and I hope to SHOW my thanks when given the opportunities. I just need help, because I know people are more than willing to be my friends, I just have to make efforts as well. So, to all my friends: let's get together over the summer, let's talk, let's have fun, let's make my summer enjoyable, and hopefully, I can contribute to yours as well. I've been good so far, but I need some times to spend with my friends whom I haven't seen for quite some time, and whom I miss a lot since school/the last time I've seen them. This sounds like a cry for help, which it probably is. What it is not is a cry for attention. I'm not writing this just so people can read and go "aww, what a poor guy". I'm writing this, because I need to let this out, and I need to actually pull myself out of this by trying to fix things, not necessarily the problem, but at least how I can deal with it: by living my life with those who enjoy my company. Namely my friends who have been there for me. For those of you who I've wronged, I strongly apologize as my daily intent is never to do wrong to others, yet no one is perfect and I've slipped on occasion. For those of you that have wronged me, I forgive you, just know that. We aren't bad people, and I know that. So please, this is my time of need, I'm in way over my head (with more problems than you know), and I need some help. If anyone wants to meet up, I'd welcome it in a second. Also, I'm turning 17 on August 9th. I've yet to do anything enjoyable with friends for my birthday, and this year, I mean to do things differently. If any of you would want to help me plan something where all of my friends can get together with me...then I'd appreciate it more than you can imagine. This sad, meaningless life I have right now can be turned around, and I DO plan on turning it. But right now I need all the help I can get. Thank you to everyone who's read this. I look forward to talking to everyone about ANYTHING soon.

I hate the nightlife, but I'll always like to boogie...
Ok, so the day started out pretty good. Got a ride to my exam thanks to Jaimy, wrote a pretty decent exam (so I feel), there was a little point after the exam I didn't care for as much, but then I hopped on a bus to Finch Station to start my day of fun. So, I meet Mike (Marlatt?) on the bus, and we ride on the subway together (he had to go to Christie Station), and then I get to Union and get on the GO train. The train takes about a half an hour to get to Oakville, and the stops are quite a distance from eachother on the way. ANYWAY, I meet up with Claudia and Amanda for some suhweet hangoutz, and we go to the "Oakville Waterfront Festival". So I pay my $15, and we're all set for some excitement. Needless to say, I bought fudge. So, around 7, we head to the big stage area and get a spot RIGHT at the front. So a little after 8, "Bedouin Soundclash" come out and put on a show. Now, from the point of view of someone who's never seen them nor heard much of their music, I didn't really know what to expect, but it was a really good show. They played for probably 2 hours and a guy came out, I think his name was Vernon Mayes, and they did some songs with him. It was a great show and I'm really glad I went and saw it. I haven't had that much fun for a while. Now begins my story...
I arrive at the Oakville GO Train station with Claudia and Amanda at about 11:15, and the train back to Union Station arrives at 11:30. So, at probably 11:28, the train pulls up, I say my goodbyes and hop on. I start to settle in, when I notice that the train begins to move in the opposite direction of where I want to go. Instead of going to Toronto, I start to move towards Hamilton. Anyway, I ask people if the train goes the other way once it gets to Burlington to which no one knows. So I assume that it probably would. At Burlington Station, a GO employee tells me that the train DOES NOT go back, and that I probably have to take a bus (since there was no one who could pick me up/I could stay with overnight, since it was about 11:50 at the time). But he told me to talk to the conductor to see if I could get a ride to Long Branch (which is 3 stops away from Union, which is still quite a distance from there). So I'm able to get a ride to long branch (which, I must add, the conductor was very nice about the whole dilemma), and then the conductor tells me that there's a 24 hour streetcar that goes to Union. So I get off and have a bit of trouble finding where the streetcar is supposed to arrive, only to find out that the streetcar ISN'T RUNNING. Also, at this point, Claudia and Amanda have been keeping in touch with me, since:
a)I was in a highly anxious/worried state (one of my personal problems to deal with)
b)They wanted to make sure I was ok
c)They were worried about me
Anyway, I find out that the only useful bus I can take goes all the way to Islington Station, and it would take 1/2 an hour (and it's already after 12). So if I got to the station at 12:30, and the time it would take to get back to the Yonge line (probably 45 minutes), coupled with the time it would take to get to Finch (probably 30 minutes), I doubted that I'd be able to get to Finch in time (the subway stops running at 1:30, I believe). So I call a taxi (Claudia's reccomendation), and I wait for it, while this creepy guy talks to me (which, when you're alone at midnight in a part of Toronto that pretty much means you're lost, it isn't the best thing to help you stay calm). The taxi arrives and I need to go to an ATM to get money for the ride, so I get money and he drives me to Union. $35 later, I get on the train and start to head to Finch. I get to the bus station and buy my ticket. The bus pulls up and I find that luckily it goes to where I need to get off. So I ride the bus back home, and get in at about 2:04 in the morning. Tired, shaken, and still a little anxious (and with a high need to go to the bathroom), I'm finally home. So, I end by saying, be careful at how you go about things, because I was really worried on multiple occasions that I'd be stranded alone in the middle of nowhere. But, luckily with the help and support of my friends, I was able to get home safe and sound. So next time a friend does something nice for you, value that friend, because they could be the greatest friend to you in the world one day, and you probably don't want to take them for granted. So Claudia and Amanda, thank you so much. You both really helped me through this whole ordeal. And, of course, a big thank you to all my friends for just being my friends, because, g-d forbid I had actually died because some stranger killed me, I'd never be able to say goodbye or thank you to all the people that I care about, and who care about me. So thanks to everyone who cares/has cared about me in the past. I love you all.
As for now...I'm really fuckin' tired, it's almost 3 AM, so I'm going to go pass out on my couch.

Ok, so it's been a while. In short, I'm waiting for this friday, because although I'll have to study for physics, I have: suhweet hangoutz with Claudia and Amanda on friday, Marcus Miller on saturday, and our wonderful show is on sunday. Quite the weekend. Can anyone top that much fun? See if you can :)
I've got my music and guitar exams tomorrow, and I'm quite looking forward to them. They should (hopefully) be a breeze, and for anyone having trouble with theory, I'm always here to help out, I love theory and maybe you can love it too. But french, that's another story.
Anyone want to study for french:P?
Aside from that, I've got a pretty free-up summer ahead of me, so people that wanna hang out, give me a call...I should be around, let's do lunch.
